# The Qlip alternative for recordings from any tool **Choose Snipri if** your recordings come from anything other than Livestorm, or you want to pay month to month instead of €2,000 a year. **Choose Livestorm AI Studio if** you already host webinars on Livestorm's Pro or Enterprise plan and want clips of each replay's Q&A and key moments, with unlimited use. Livestorm bought Qlip in June 2026, and its AI Studio clips Livestorm's own webinar replays. Snipri clips recordings made with any tool, from $29.90/month, paid month to month. - Page: https://www.snipri.com/alternatives/qlip-ai - Updated: November 3, 2026 **Acquired.** Livestorm announced on June 2, 2026 that it had acquired Qlip, and qlip.ai now redirects to Livestorm. Livestorm's first product from the deal is AI Studio, which clips Livestorm's own webinar replays, so this page compares Snipri with it. [Livestorm on acquiring Qlip, June 2, 2026](https://livestorm.co/blog/livestorm-we-acquired-qlip) Checked on October 22, 2026 against Qlip's own pages; every link is under [Sources](https://www.snipri.com/alternatives/qlip-ai#sources). Livestorm AI Studio is sold by the year in euros, as an add-on to a Livestorm plan, and clips only Livestorm webinars, so a month of recordings cannot be priced against it. The month is set on the page, in [the cost receipt](https://www.snipri.com/alternatives/qlip-ai#cost). ## Comparing Snipri vs. Qlip We build Snipri, so read this as one side's comparison. Snipri takes an upload or a link from any source, and a webinar's slides with a webcam inset can be laid out with the slides above and the speaker below. ### Monthly plans instead of a yearly add-on AI Studio is an add-on to Livestorm's Pro and Enterprise plans at €2,000 a year. Snipri's plans start at $29.90/month for 10 videos and can be paid month to month. ### A title on every clip, yours to rewrite Livestorm AI Studio titles each clip automatically. Snipri writes a hook title card for each clip too, and in the editor you can retype it, show it for 1 to 10 seconds, or remove it. ### When Qlip is the better fit - You already run webinars on Livestorm's Pro or Enterprise plan - You want clips of each replay's Q&A and key moments without uploading anything - You want unlimited use for one yearly price ## How Qlip and Snipri work ### Qlip Livestorm AI Studio is for teams that host their webinars on Livestorm. 1. Host a webinar on Livestorm. 2. AI Studio finds the Q&A, peaks of engagement, speaker changes and topic shifts in the replay. 3. Each moment becomes its own titled, captioned clip, in vertical, square or landscape. Source: [Livestorm AI Studio](https://livestorm.co/features/ai/livestorm-ai-studio) ### Snipri Snipri keeps the moments of a long recording that stand on their own, with their scores, framed to 9:16 and captioned word by word. [How each feature works](https://www.snipri.com/features) ## Switching from Qlip to Snipri - **What you bring:** Upload your webinar replays or any other recording to Snipri. Each counts as one video for each hour of it, rounded up, up to your plan's length. - **What stays with Qlip:** Your Livestorm webinars, their replays and anything made in Qlip stay where they are. Snipri does not host webinars. ## Qlip: common questions ### What happened to Qlip? Livestorm announced on June 2, 2026 that it had acquired Qlip, and qlip.ai now redirects to Livestorm.
