# The SendShort alternative for full-length recordings **Choose Snipri if** you clip long recordings and want every plan to do it, counted by the hour of recording rather than per short. **Choose SendShort if** you post every day and want shorts scheduled to TikTok and YouTube, B-roll added, exports up to 4K at 60 fps, or captions in over 100 languages. SendShort sells shorts by the month, and its first plan does not cut long videos. Snipri counts long recordings by the hour, not by the short, on every plan, from $29.90/month. - Page: https://www.snipri.com/alternatives/sendshort - Updated: November 3, 2026 Checked on October 22, 2026 against SendShort's own pages; every link is under [Sources](https://www.snipri.com/alternatives/sendshort#sources). Prices in USD. ### Snipri pricing Free, Starter, Pro and Scale. Every plan's price and limits are on the [pricing page](https://www.snipri.com/pricing). ### SendShort pricing - Starter: $19/month or $15/month billed yearly, 20 shorts per month of up to 90 seconds, 1080p, no long video to shorts - Professional: $29/month or $23/month billed yearly, 50 shorts per month of up to 3 minutes, 2K, long video to shorts, API - Business: $59/month or $47/month billed yearly, unlimited shorts of up to 10 minutes, 4K at 60 fps ## Why choose Snipri over SendShort ### Counted by the hour, not by the short SendShort's Professional plan makes 50 shorts a month, so ten clips from each of five episodes use all of them. Snipri counts a recording as one video for each hour of it, whether it keeps 3 clips or 10. ### Long videos on the first paid plan SendShort turns long videos into shorts from Professional, $29/month; its Starter makes shorts but does not cut long videos. Every Snipri plan does, the free one included, and Starter is $29.90/month for 10 hour-long recordings. ### Every edit is on the house Trim a clip, split it in two, change its captions or retype its title card as often as you like. Snipri re-renders it from the clip you already have and never counts another video for it. ### When SendShort is the better fit - You publish every day and want TikTok and YouTube posts scheduled from the same tool - You want B-roll and zooms added to your shorts - You want exports in 2K, or 4K at 60 fps on Business - You need captions in a language Snipri lacks (SendShort lists over 100) ## How SendShort and Snipri work ### SendShort SendShort's home page says it is built for people who publish every day. 1. Upload a video file or paste a YouTube link. 2. SendShort picks moments it scores for retention and adds captions, B-roll and zooms. 3. Schedule the shorts to TikTok and YouTube from the same account. Source: [SendShort home page](https://sendshort.ai/) ### Snipri Snipri keeps the moments of a long recording that stand on their own, with their scores, framed to 9:16 and captioned word by word. [How each feature works](https://www.snipri.com/features) ## Switching from SendShort to Snipri - **What you bring:** Upload the long recordings or paste the same YouTube links. Each counts in Snipri as one video for each hour of it, whatever number of clips it gives. - **What stays with SendShort:** Scheduled posts, connected accounts and B-roll stay with SendShort. Snipri gives you finished files to post yourself. ## SendShort: common questions ### Does SendShort's Starter plan turn long videos into shorts? No. Its pricing page lists long video to shorts from Professional, $29/month or $23/month billed yearly. Starter makes 20 shorts a month of up to 90 seconds. Every Snipri plan clips long recordings, the free one included. ### Is SendShort cheaper than Snipri? Its Starter costs less, $19/month, but makes 20 shorts of up to 90 seconds and does not clip long videos. For that SendShort starts at Professional, $29/month or $23/month billed yearly, for 50 shorts. Snipri's Starter is $29.90/month for 10 videos of up to 2 hours each, counted by the hour. ### Does Snipri add B-roll or post to TikTok? No to both. Snipri keeps the speaker's own footage, reframed to 9:16 and captioned, and it connects to no social account. You download each clip and post it yourself. ### How long can my recording be in Snipri? Up to 1 hour on Free, 2 hours on Starter and 3 hours on Pro and Scale. From one recording Snipri keeps up to 10 clips, and the recording counts as one video for each hour of it, rounded up. ### Can I try SendShort and Snipri for free? SendShort gives 3 free videos to start. Snipri's free plan clips 2 long recordings of up to 1 hour each, once, with a watermark: the long-video clipping its paid plans do, which SendShort sells from Professional. ## Other tools like SendShort - [Cutlabs alternative](https://www.snipri.com/alternatives/cutlabs) - [Opus Clip pricing vs Snipri](https://www.snipri.com/alternatives/opus-clip) - [Klap alternative](https://www.snipri.com/alternatives/klap) - [Vizard alternative](https://www.snipri.com/alternatives/vizard) - [Vidyo.ai alternative](https://www.snipri.com/alternatives/vidyo-ai) - [WayinVideo alternative](https://www.snipri.com/alternatives/wayinvideo) - [All 19 comparisons](https://www.snipri.com/alternatives) - [AI clip selection](https://www.snipri.com/features/ai-clip-maker) - [Opus Clip alternatives in 2026](https://www.snipri.com/blog/5-best-opus-clip-alternatives) ## Sources for the SendShort comparison - [SendShort pricing](https://sendshort.ai/pricing) (sendshort.ai) - [SendShort home page](https://sendshort.ai/) (sendshort.ai) Checked on October 22, 2026.
