# Set up your brand kit

Save your caption look, colours, font, logo and handle on the Brand page, so every new clip starts in your style, and put the kit on clips you already have.

A brand kit is the look every new clip starts in: the captions, your colours and font, a logo and a line of text such as your handle. It belongs to your account, so it dresses the clips of each new job on any device.

## The Brand page

Open **Brand** from the menu. The page opens on a preview of a vertical clip, drawn over a frame of one of your own clips, and the settings sit beside it in tabs: **Captions**, **Brand assets** and **Logo & text**.

**Another frame** shows the preview over a different moment, **Plain backdrop** swaps the footage for a plain ground, and **Use my footage** brings it back. **Enlarge preview** makes the preview larger while you work.

A brand kit keeps up to 6 colours, one font file (TTF, OTF or TTC) of up to 8 MB, a logo (PNG, JPEG or WebP, under 5 MB) and a line of text of up to 120 characters.

## Your caption look

On **Captions**, under **Caption style**, pick the style to start from, then make it yours: the **Font** and its **Weight**, the **Word highlight** that marks the spoken word, the **Subtitle transition** each word or phrase arrives with, and the colours of the **Text**, the **Highlight** and the **Outline**. **Uppercase**, **Background box** and **Last line size** finish the look.

[Change a clip's caption style](https://www.snipri.com/docs/change-caption-style) explains the same settings in the editor.

## Colours and font

On **Brand assets**:

- **Brand colours** keeps the colours you use, and they wait in every colour picker of the Brand page and the clip editor.
- **Your own font** takes a font file of your own. Press **Upload a font**, and the font is offered for your captions and your text beside the built-in ones, here and in the editor.

## Logo and handle

On **Logo & text**:

1. Under **Logo**, press **Upload a logo** and choose the image. Drag it in the preview to place it, and set **Logo size**.
2. Under **Handle or text**, type a username or a short line in **Your text**, then set its **Text size**, its **Colour** and its **Font**. Drag it in the preview to place it.

Both appear on every new clip, where you placed them.

## Save the kit

Press **Save brand**. The bar beside it says **Unsaved changes** until you do, and **All changes saved** once the kit is stored.

> **Note:** A saved kit applies to new clips, and the clips you already have stay as they are. To put the kit on one of them, open it in the editor and press **Brand** in the **Media** tab, which [Add images and video to a clip](https://www.snipri.com/docs/add-images-and-video) covers.

In the Studio, the **Captions** card starts on your brand's look. Picking another style there changes the captions of that one job, and the kit stays as it is. The [brand kit](https://www.snipri.com/features/brand-kit) page shows a kit at work.
