AI video affiliate program: earn 20% for 12 months

Recommend Snipri to people who make podcasts, interviews and videos. When someone subscribes through your link, you earn 20% of every payment they make in their first 12 months.

What is the Snipri affiliate program?

It pays you for recommending Snipri. You share your own link, and when someone who followed it starts a paid plan within 60 days, you earn 20% of every payment they make in their first 12 months. It runs on Lemon Squeezy, which sells Snipri's plans, tracks each referral and pays you twice a month.

How the affiliate program works

  1. Apply and get your link

Apply on Snipri's page at Lemon Squeezy. Lemon Squeezy checks every affiliate before they can join a program, and each application to Snipri is read by hand. Once you are approved, your dashboard there gives you your link.

Drawing of an affiliate link: the snipri.com address, the aff parameter and your code, and the same code on the home page, a use case page and a feature page
Drawn for this page. The aff parameter is Lemon Squeezy's, and every page of snipri.com looks for it.
  2. A paid plan within 60 days counts

Put the link in a video description, a post or a newsletter, and say that it is an affiliate link. Someone who follows it and starts a paid plan within 60 days, in the same browser, is your referral, even if they try the free plan first.

Timeline of the 60 days after a click on an affiliate link: the visitor tries the free plan, then starts a paid plan inside the window and becomes a referral, while a plan started after day 60 would not count

  3. Lemon Squeezy pays you twice a month

Each commission is held for 30 days, so a payment refunded in that time earns nothing. Then it joins the next payout: Lemon Squeezy makes them up on the 1st and the 15th of each month and pays them on the 14th and the 28th, by bank transfer or PayPal, in US dollars.

Timeline of one commission: the customer pays, the 30-day hold ends, then Lemon Squeezy makes up the next payout and pays it

What one referral earns

20% of what the customer pays, at the prices on the plans table, before Lemon Squeezy's 2% fee.

PlanEach monthly payment12 monthly paymentsA yearly payment
Starter$5.98$71.76$57.38
Pro$17.98$215.76$172.58
Scale$59.80$717.60$573.98
Drawing of what one referred customer earns on each plan: 12 monthly commissions on Starter, Pro and Scale, nothing after month 12, and one commission on a yearly plan
Drawn from the plans table's prices and the program's 20% for 12 months.

A monthly plan earns on each payment for 12 months, and a yearly plan is paid once a year, so it earns once. The free plan pays nothing, so a free account earns nothing until it becomes a paid one.

What your audience gets

Each clip is a moment Snipri picked from a real recording, captioned word by word in a different style. It is what you would be recommending.

  • Signal on an interview: “Running helps, so sports. Yeah, running, cycling, that really helps.”
  • Gilded on a keynote: “Generative AI is a non-deterministic statistical process to come to a most likely outcome.”
  • Sprout on a lecture: “So this one is partially space delimited, partially tab delimited, and also semicolon delimited.”
  • Ticker on a talk: “And that's the second core idea, third core idea for these systems, is that you change the broadcast public key every now and then.”
  • Bloom on an interview: “Techno festivals. Oh, techno, okay, yeah. I think that's a very good advice for all of you.”
  • Sunset on a keynote: “So the best thing AI can do is change the humans. So it's easier to predict.”
  • Comic on a lecture: “Because in theory, everyone is sort of sure that if you create DNA from your computer and you put it in an empty bacterium, it should work.”
  • Flamingo on a lecture: “Sometimes the DNA machine is not sure which letters there are and that's the NNNNN in between.”

The rules, in short

  • Say that you earn from the link.

Put a word such as "ad" or "affiliate link" where people see it before they click, and in a video, say it out loud near the start.

  • Your own subscription earns nothing.

Neither does one for an account you own or control.

  • No search ads on the Snipri name.

Do not bid on Snipri or a misspelling of it, or use the name in a domain, an app or a social account.

  • No coupon or deal sites.

Do not post the link on coupon, deal or cashback sites, or offer anything in return for a sign-up or a purchase.

  • No spam.

Send no unsolicited messages, and use no bots, fake accounts or misleading redirects.

  • Promise only what Snipri does.

Promise no views, reach or income, and do not speak for Snipri.

Affiliate program questions

Who can join the Snipri affiliate program?

Anyone Lemon Squeezy accepts as an affiliate, once Snipri approves the application. It suits people who make or teach video and podcasts, and it helps to have used Snipri yourself: the free plan's 2 videos cost nothing.

Does it cost anything to join?

No, joining is free. Lemon Squeezy keeps 2% of each commission as its fee, and currency conversion or PayPal fees may apply when you are paid.

How much does a referral earn?

20% of each payment: $5.98 to $59.80 for each monthly payment, depending on the plan, and $717.60 from a customer who stays on Scale for 12 months. The earnings table on this page has every plan.

Is the commission recurring?

Yes, for 12 months. Every payment a referred customer makes in the first 12 months after their first payment earns 20%, and payments after that earn nothing. A yearly plan is paid once a year, so it earns once.

How long does the cookie last?

60 days. When someone arrives on your link, Lemon Squeezy's tracking script leaves a cookie in their browser, and a paid plan started in that browser within 60 days is your referral. A visitor who blocks or clears it, or subscribes on another device, may not be credited.

Does a free sign-up earn anything?

No. A referral earns from the customer's first payment. Someone who starts on the free plan still counts if they subscribe within 60 days of following your link, in the same browser.

When and how am I paid?

Lemon Squeezy pays you, not Snipri, by bank transfer or PayPal, in US dollars. Each commission is held for 30 days, then joins the next payout: Lemon Squeezy makes them up on the 1st and the 15th of each month and pays them on the 14th and the 28th. A payout needs at least $10, and a smaller balance waits for the next one.

Can I link to a page other than the home page?

Yes. Your code works on every page of snipri.com. Add ?aff= and your code to the end of any page's address, as in www.snipri.com/tools?aff=yourcode.

Can I promote Snipri with paid ads?

Yes, except search ads that bid on the Snipri name or a misspelling of it. Say in the ad that you earn from the link, as anywhere else you share it.

Where do I see my referrals and payouts?

In your Lemon Squeezy affiliate dashboard, with every click, referral and payout. Snipri keeps no dashboard of its own, and as the Affiliate Program Terms say, Lemon Squeezy's records decide which payments earn a commission.
