These terms govern Snipri's affiliate program (the "Program"), described on the affiliate program page. Snipri is run by Cihan Düzgören, hello@snipri.com.
1. The program#
The Program pays a commission for referring customers who pay for a Snipri subscription. It runs on Lemon Squeezy's affiliate platform: Lemon Squeezy reviews affiliates, tracks referrals, works out commissions and pays them, under its own terms for affiliates, which apply alongside these.
2. Joining#
You apply through Lemon Squeezy, on Snipri's application page. Lemon Squeezy has to accept you as an affiliate before you can apply to any program, and Snipri approves or declines each application to this one, without having to give a reason. The details you give Lemon Squeezy must be true, and you must be old enough to make a contract where you live.
3. Commission#
You earn 20% of each payment a referred customer makes for a Snipri subscription in the first 12 months after their first payment, as Lemon Squeezy calculates it. Payments after those 12 months earn nothing. A yearly plan is paid once a year, so it earns one commission. The amounts on the affiliate program page are examples at today's prices.
No commission is earned on:
- a payment that is refunded or charged back;
- your own subscription, or one for an account you own or control;
- a customer Lemon Squeezy does not credit to your link.
4. How referrals are tracked#
A referral is a customer who follows your link and starts a paid subscription within 60 days, in the same browser. When someone arrives on your link, Lemon Squeezy's tracking script records the visit and leaves a cookie for those 60 days, as the Privacy Policy describes. A visitor who blocks or clears it, or subscribes on another device, may not be credited. When a customer followed more than one affiliate's link, the referral goes to the affiliate Lemon Squeezy credits. Lemon Squeezy's records decide which payments earn a commission.
5. Payment#
Lemon Squeezy pays commissions, not Snipri. Each commission is held for 30 days and then joins the next payout: Lemon Squeezy makes payouts up on the 1st and the 15th of each month and pays them on the 14th and the 28th, by bank transfer or PayPal, in US dollars. A balance under $10 waits for a later payout. Lemon Squeezy keeps 2% of each commission as its fee, and currency conversion or PayPal fees may apply. You are responsible for any tax due on your commissions where you live.
6. Saying that you are paid#
Wherever you share your link, say clearly, before anyone clicks, that you earn a commission from it, with words such as "ad", "affiliate link" or "paid link". In a video, say it out loud near the start as well as writing it in the description. Advertising rules in many countries require this, and they can hold Snipri responsible for a missing one.
7. What you may not do#
- Earn a commission on your own subscription, or on one for an account you own or control.
- Bid on the Snipri name, or a misspelling of it, in search ads, or use it in a domain, an app or a social account.
- Post your link on coupon, deal or cashback sites, or offer anything in return for a sign-up or a purchase.
- Send spam or unsolicited messages, or use bots, fake accounts or misleading redirects.
- Speak for Snipri, or promise results Snipri does not promise, such as views, reach or income.
- Use Snipri's name or logo except to refer to Snipri.
8. Ending or changing the Program#
You can leave the Program at any time by emailing hello@snipri.com. Snipri can remove you from it at any time, and if you break these terms, commissions not yet paid are cancelled. Snipri may change the commission or these terms, or end the Program, by updating this page. A change applies to referrals made after the date at the top, and commissions already earned stand.
