Getting started
Sign in and manage your account
Sign in with Google or with a code sent to your email address, what to do when a code doesn't arrive, and how to sign out or close your account.
On this page
One step signs you in and, the first time, makes your free account. There is no password: you sign in with Google, or with a code sent to your email address.
Sign in with Google
#Press Continue with Google and choose your Google account. Snipri receives your name, email address and profile picture from Google, and uses them to know your account.
Sign in with a code
#- Type your email address and press Email me a code.
- Open the email from Snipri and type the code into the page that asked for it.
- Press Sign in.
The code has 6 digits and works once, for 10 minutes.
An address that already signs in with Google reaches the same account, so you can use either way in.
Tip: No email after a minute? Look in spam or promotions, then press Send a new code. Use another email starts again with a different address.
When signing in fails
#The page says what went wrong, and each message says what to do next:
- We couldn't send the code. Try again in a moment, or continue with Google.
- Too many codes were sent in the last hour. Wait a while before asking for another, or continue with Google.
- That code is wrong or has expired. Check it, or send a new one.
- Too many tries from here. Wait a few minutes, then send a new code.
- Something on Snipri's side failed while signing you in. Try again in a moment.
- Couldn't reach Snipri. Check your connection and try again.
A video chosen before signing in
#If you chose a video on the home page and then signed in with a code, the video stays on the page. Google's sign-in leaves the page and comes back, and a browser can't carry a file through that, so after a Google sign-in you choose the file again.
Sign out
#Open the account menu at the top right of any screen and press Sign out.
Close your account
#Write to hello@snipri.com from the address you sign in with and ask for the account to be closed. The privacy policy says what is removed and which billing records are kept.
